Doppelganger - The Enchanted by Prof BC

The Enchanted is a brand-new, fully packed, actual Doppelgänger. The cover is a reproduction of Boulton’s rare, under-the-radar book, but the story is new, written by Professor BC and coded in classic Doppelgänger fashion.

The Enchanted has no pictures for remote viewing but includes the popular ‘threat’ pages throughout. Many have had the chance to peruse the display volume of The Enchanted at this year’s ECSS in Myrtle Beach, and you are free to ask them what they think of the new offering. It is a honey.

What is Doppelgänger? It is a book test like no other, called a ‘remarkable feat’ in Jim Kleefeld’s The Book Test Book (page 217). A single Doppelgänger is a powerful tool that becomes even more flexible and extraordinary when combined with other Doppelgänger books—but one is enough to amaze and terrify your spectators.

Your stage is set with a tasteful, elegant table upon which a book or a small library of rare, first-edition books rest. 

Your spectator can thumb through them one after another. Every page is different. It appears (even on very close examination) to be a genuinely random selection of old, lovely books. 

The spectators may then decide on any of the books and turn to any page therein. You need force nothing; no collusion, no stooges, no controlling, and no peeks. It is exactly as it appears, a completely free, any book/any page choice. 

Your spectators can even take the rare books home and read them (if you desire). The spectators will agree that they really are nothing other than famous, rare old books. You can actually do the reading from the next room or even over the telephone after your spectators have spent time reading the books. They are that clean. 

You are about to enter the world of Doppelgänger with a brand-new title: The Enchanted.

The story itself is a Sherlock Holmes-style character, who is a black Tobago islander chasing ghosts through 1922 London.
