This exclusive reissue of Krampusnacht 1 is printed on premium card stock for improved handling and durability. It includes the complete 20-card base set, along with the extremely rare “Windows to the Soul” expansion, featuring an adapted routine written specifically for Vitrum Ostium owners.

This Special Edition also includes two folk-art “Naughty & Nice” markers, designed in a traditional Alpine style. Each marker doubles as a Christmas decoration, blending performance and folklore into a dark festive ritual.

A revised routine incorporating the Naughty & Nice markers brings the entire experience together — a perfectly twisted piece of Christmas magic and illusion.

Effect Synopsis

• Two small folk-art carvings are placed on the table: St Nicholas, bringer of gifts, and the Krampus, punisher of the wicked.
• A spectator is handed a deck of twenty festive Victorian portrait postcards, each depicting a different child. They are asked to study each face and decide, purely on instinct, whether that child belonged on the Nice List or the Naughty List.
• Those judged to be good are placed beside St Nicholas. Those deemed naughty are placed beside the Krampus.
• The spectator continues, freely and randomly dividing the cards into two piles until none remain.
• When the piles are turned over, an impossible result is revealed. Every child placed in the good pile bears the mark of St Nicholas on the reverse… while every child condemned as naughty is branded with the mark of the Krampus.

The decisions were entirely the spectator’s. The placement was completely free. Yet the outcome is perfect.
