Doomsday is the premier Bizarre and Mystery Entertainment event in the UK and covers all aspects of macabre magic, storytelling, paranormal high strangeness and freakish sideshow acts.  What's more it's held in a castle in Whitby, the home of Bram Stoker.  So why not join us for an inspiring weekend as we delve into the minds of some of Bizarre Magic's greatest thinkers and performers?

The two day event is crammed full of lectures, workshops and performances which culminate on Saturday night with The Hex Factor.

Doomsday VIIII promises to be the largest and most spectacular yet and as a result we have had to cap ticket sales at 120.  With over 90 attendees in 2017 we expect this event to reach the maximum capacity of Sneaton Castle so early booking is essential!

Dedicated Dealer Room

We now have a dedicated dealer room!  The St Hilda room will be open from Friday morning for dealers to demo and sell their latest creations.  There will also be a Bring & Buy Corner for Doomsday attendees to trade and shop.

The cost for a dealer table is only £5 for the whole weekend.

The weekend itinerary will also be adjusted to ensure there is lots of time for you to peruse the dealer room at your leisure.

If you would like a dealer stand please contact us here.

Critchlow's Corner

The magical version of an open mic night!  Step up, ring the bell and perform your new routine in front of the Doomsday crowd.  Hugely popular at Doomsday VIII and the creation of magic legend Jim Critchlow, this is your chance to shine.

A panel of judges will give feedback but ultimately the audience will decide the best act of the evening.

The winner will be awarded a full performance spot at Doomsday 10 and a pair of free tickets but more importantly they will win the The Hex Factor trophy!
